My Complementary Therapy Story
I'm Sue Fisher of In The Zone Reflexology & Hypnotherapy.
Reflexology found me at a pamper evening at my daughter's school. I knew nothing about it but I booked myself in for a taster session and I loved how relaxed and calm it made me feel. At the time I was on extended maternity leave after having my son. Previously I had worked for many years in accounts, I recognised I needed a new challenge and Reflexology very quickly became that challenge. I was drawn to a people centred role and loved the idea of working for myself as this would allow the flexibility to work around family life.
I studied with David Wayte of Jubilee College and can honestly say I loved every minute. I qualified with a level 3 diploma in Reflexology in summer 2012 and immediately set up my business In the Zone Reflexology.
It wasn’t until the start of 2023 that my interest in Hypnotherapy grew. While looking for a Hypnotherapist to refer a reflexology client on to, I discovered Charlotte Mather of Axiom Academy of Clinical Hypnotherapy. An online masterclass with Charlotte had me hooked and I immediately enrolled onto the diploma course, graduating in January 2024.
I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR), registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
