My Complementary Therapy Story
I'm Sue Fisher of In The Zone Reflexology & Hypnotherapy.
Reflexology found me at a pamper evening at my daughter's school. I knew nothing about it but I booked myself in for a taster session and I loved how relaxed and calm it made me feel. At the time I was on extended maternity leave after having my son. Previously I had worked for many years in accounts, I recognised I needed a new challenge and Reflexology very quickly became that challenge. I was drawn to a people centred role and loved the idea of working for myself as this would allow the flexibility to work around family life.
After qualifying with a level 3 diploma in Reflexology in summer 2012 I immediately set up my business, In the Zone Reflexology. Since then I have completed further training in Reflexology Lymph Drainage, Facial Reflexology and Hot Stone Reflexology.
It wasn’t until the start of 2023 that my interest in Hypnotherapy grew, I was looking for a Hypnotherapist to refer a reflexology client on to and decided to study it for myself. I completed a diploma course, in January 2024.
I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR), registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
